Pysanky Egg Decorating

This Ukrainian egg decorating class is an annual favorite at Hessel School House. Known as pysanky, these beautiful and intricately patterned eggs are decorated using the wax-resist (batik) method creating stunning motifs. Come learn this traditional art form with artist Bette Smith. All materials and step-by-step instruction is provided. Participants are asked to bring 3 farm fresh eggs and a dish towel from home. Kits are not included, but a materials list will be provided by the instructor for those that wish to create additional eggs on their own at home. Class Fee: $35.
