Participants will learn about some of the factors that contribute to chronic disease and explore how nourishing the body with wholesome foods can play an important role in supporting better health.
This class combines instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on learning. Along the way, participants will pair up to try several simple food-preparation activities, including making a vinaigrette, preparing sauerkraut, and learning how to feed a sourdough starter.
No special experience or equipment is needed—all supplies will be provided. A delicious lunch is also included, giving participants time to enjoy good food, conversation, and the ideas explored throughout the class.
