History & Word Play: Mixing the Previously Unmixed to Cook New Poems

We know about the magic of salt, fat, acid, and heat in the kitchen. In this workshop, participants will explore two magic elements in poetry — history and word play – and experiment with them to write their own poems.

Note: Participants might consider using the poem they begin in this workshop as content for the artist’s book we’ll make in a later workshop.
