Intro to 3D Printing

Whether you are new to 3D printing technology or just looking to close a few knowledge gaps, this is the class for you! While this technology has been around for 30 years it’s only in the last 5 years, and the rise of desktop 3D printers, that people have become aware of its game changing potential across all industries.
This class will give an introduction to the wide range of technologies in 3D printers, a comparison of the most common 3D printers on the market, an overview of materials that can be used to print, and online services and communities that offer 3D models or 3D printing services.
Class will take place at Hessel School House from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Class fee: $20 per student.
