DESCRIPTION:During this hands-on workshop\, homeowners will learn how to care for their fruit trees and increase the production of apples and stone fruits. Participants will visit a working farm where Terry Schaedig will cover fruit tree basics: the simple logic of pruning\, how to prune for thrifty trees and easy harvest\, early training\, seasonal routines\, grafting techniques\, and pest and disease control. \nFor your scheduling convenience\, this class is offered twice. The tactile quality of simple loom weaving is particularly aesthetic and creative. It covers the tools you’ll need to draw and also provides plenty of exercises to practice drawing using different techniques and styles. It also covers drawing people\, places\, and objects. \nDuring this two session workshop you will learn about the tools used to draw\, values\, shading\, textures and how to create them\, and incorporate them to draw people\, landscapes\, animals\, flowers and trees. You will also have the opportunity to share your amazing drawing creations in class to receive useful feedback. DESCRIPTION:Drawing 101\n2 Sessions: April 15 and 29 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM \nDrawing 101 is designed for beginner artists who have an interest in learning how to draw or sketch — or simply want to improve their skills. It covers the tools you’ll need to draw and also provides plenty of exercises to practice drawing using different techniques and styles. It also covers drawing people\, places\, and objects. \nDuring this two session workshop you will learn about the tools used to draw\, values\, shading\, textures and how to create them\, and incorporate them to draw people\, landscapes\, animals\, flowers and trees. You will also have the opportunity to share your amazing drawing creations in class to receive useful feedback. DESCRIPTION:Come experience the transformative energy and beauty of spring in new and deeply familiar ways with the practice of forest bathing.  Different then other nature connection experiences such as hiking and birdwatching\, forest bathing follows the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku which invites you to slow down and mindfully connect with nature through all of your senses. Give your body and mind a chance to rest and restore while taking in the subtleties and wonder of nature. Your experience will include a guided sensory awakening meditation followed by a series of explorational invitations and conclude with time for sharing around a campfire and tea. \nThe walk will take place outside in nature so please dress appropriately for the conditions.
