DESCRIPTION:Students ages 6-11 years old will create frogs using polymer clay and fabric. First they will learn the pinch\, coil and slab techniques to create frog sculptures. While these clay sculptures are baking\, we will be creating a simple fabric frog. SUMMARY:The Art of the Letter
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop we’ll read examples of the epistle – poems written as letters to others – and then write our own letter poems or letter prose poems. The epistle allows a writer to engage in something that feels like a private exchange. The result can be delightful for both writer and reader. Epistolary poems feel intimate. When we read them we feel like we’re eavesdropping.
