The start of spring means that Easter is on the horizon, which for many people means one thing—it’s time to start decorating eggs. In Ukraine, Easter egg decorating is an important art form that dates back centuries. Known as pysanky, these beautiful and intricately patterned eggs are decorated using the wax-resist (batik) method creating stunning motifs.
Come learn this traditional art form with artists Anthony and Gretchen Jones at Hessel School House, Saturday, March 18, 2023.
