Basket Making: Apple Basket

In this class, you will learn how to create a beautiful and functional apple basket that is approximately 5” in height and 11” in diameter. Using two weaving techniques—randing and slewing—you will have the opportunity to incorporate a decorative band on the side of your basket, adding a unique and personalized touch to your creation. Dyed reeds will be provided for you to use, allowing you to experiment with different colors and patterns. All supplies are included in the class fee, so all you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm. By the end of the class, you will have crafted your very own one-of-a-kind apple basket, ready to be displayed as a stunning art piece in your home.
